OUR FIRST WINNER!!
CARERS "PRIZE DRAW" CLUB The first draw of the Carers "Prize Draw" Club was made at the Potteries Shopping Centre on Friday 28th March.
This was a special day arranged to raise awareness of Carers and the profile of the Carers' own lottery, the Prize Draw Club.
Carer of the Year 2007 Barry Jones, ably assisted by his wife Vera, made the draw.
256 numbers went into the draw making a prize fund of £128, being 50p for every pound in the month's fund.
The winning number was 121. That was bought by Carer Mrs Lowe of Stoke, who cares for her husband and mother.
When told of her good fortune Mrs Lowe said: "This must be a wind up, I never win anything, not even an argument." Well Mrs Lowe, a cheque for £128 is proof that you won this argument. We sincerely hope you enjoy spending your winnings.

Sponsored Sky Dive 
Hi everyone, I am Zoe Walton from North Staffs Carers Association of the Young Carers department and On May 17th at 12.00am I will be attempting a sky dive to raise money for the charity. This is the first time I have ever done anything like this and as I am scared of heights this will be a big challenge for me. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and your support welcome.
