Raisng Young Carer Awareness accross North Staffs!

September 11, 2017

Jayne our School Liaison Worker received a warm welcome from St John Fisher Catholic College to raise Young Carer Awareness to both pupils and staff.

In assembly Jayne discussed the challenges that Young Carers can face caring for someone in their family and the impact that can effect Young Carers in many ways especially at school.

The aims of providing Young Carer Awareness in schools and colleges is to identify hidden Young Carers and provide them with the information and support that NSC and the Big Lottery Funded Musketeer Project can offer.
