Dan from Re-Solv came to the centre to do a workshop based around legal highs and volatile substances. The morning consisted of a presentation video clips and activities.
The activities showed how legal highs can be dangerous for absolutely anyone to use and could be fatal even if its an individuals first use of the substance. The friendly activity used eggs which some were raw and some were hard boiled. The Young Carers took it in turns to crack the eggs on their heads and which ever was the raw egg illustrated the fatal outcome of some one.
He also completed a workshop based around peer pressure which is one of the leading causes of young people turning to and using volatile substances for legal highs.
