The first of our Summer trips was to Drayton Manor for our older Young Carers.
We set off from the Carers Centre was a full, energetic coach and returned later on the tired bodies indicating that everyone had a very fun-filled day.
For Young Carers. gaining some independence is key to their development. Though staff were present at the theme park, the children were encouraged to seek out friendship groups with our Young Carers. This trip was funded by Happy Days.
