It seems a while since I updated this blog but, here at Young Carers HQ we've been busy organising groups and activities for our autumn and upcoming winter months. Summer saw us take our Young Carers to theme parks and zoo's, local parks and holding groups at our Carers Centre. We kicked off autumn with our friends at KMF who helped the younger Young Carers develop cars from card and plastic sheets and race the, down a track.
This month brought us a Young Carers games night for 8-11s and another night for 11+ years. KMF came back to host the same workshop but for the older Young Carers this time. And Andrew has been hosting alongside Diane, 4-weekly 'Emotional Wellbeing Workshops'.
We have our residential coming up this half term week to PGL which I will be blogging live from (if there's signal) and then straight after is our Halloween disco on the 31st.
