Julie and Louise from DHL kindly organised for Young Carers to have a break from their caring roles by booking a private screening of 'the jungle bunch' at a local cinema and provided popcorn, drinks
, sweets and chocolate to munch on during the film.
Afterwards we headed over to the ski slopes ( another local attraction) where DHL had booked a tubing session for all who attended. Each Young Carer took it int urns to head down the slope in their rubber rings before regrouping together and sliding down with lots of adrenaline and fun. Even Diane and Jayne had a go.
To finish off such a great day DHL booked the skEat cafe after the tubing session where an evening meal of burgers, hot dogs and other option were available.
Thank you DHL for organising such a wonderful day out for the Young Carers. it will be a day to remember.
