No money is required. However, if you attend any trips there may be times when the Young Carer may wish to take a small amount of money to spend...

Can the Young Carers contact our Team?

Yes, the Young Carer can contact the team between office hours 9:00am until 5:00pm.

All the team work different hours. If you want to speak too a specific key worker and the worker is not in, a message can be left and the worker will contact you.

Do the school have to know about my Caring role

We do not have to tell the school that you are a Young Carer.

However, it is in the best interest that school are aware so that they can provide extra support.

Can my friends join the Activities & Training Sessions

If your friends are in need of support and they are a Young Carer then yes they can be apart of everything we do here.

if they are not a Young Carer then they would not be able attend.

However, you have the opportunity to make new friends

What if i do not want be involved in the project anymore

That is fine, you just need to let us know that you know longer require a service so that you are not contacted again.
